| Sterling is very patient and understanding with animals of any kind. His natural instinct allows him to work wonders with horses. When he decided to buy his Arabian mount he was told the animal had a problem being saddled. Prince was just plain afraid of the saddle. He’d dance and wiggle and do anything to avoid that piece of leather being placed on his back. There are those that thought he should sell the horse, they thought he’d never be able to saddle him. Well, today, Sterling enjoys long, pleasurable trail rides on his very quite and sound mount, Prince. Saddling no longer is a dance routine and takes just a few minutes to accomplish.

Sterling purchased a 5-month-old filly in July of 2001. At that age she obviously had not been worked with very much. I have witnessed him enable this yearling to be a very loving and social horse, with very nice ground manners. She leads with and without a halter and excitably performs her round pen work very well, even choosing the correct lead! I look forward to watching this filly grow and become a versatile world champion horse. She can do it with the wonderful training methods and love that Sterling provides.
